Welcome to the latest BLS Vlog where Samuel Beamon and Jordan Deveson explore the two railways that used to link to the town in Suffolk known as Haverhill. First we explored the former "Stour Valley Railway" line from Haverhill North to Sturmer. We then took a look at the partially closed line "Colne Valley & Halstead Railway" from Haverhill South to Whitley via Birdbrook. Filmed over the course of a few weeks the weather changed constantly from bright winter sunshine to cold, wet and rainy days. We hope this video will also be of good help to Phillip Baker who is constructing both the Stour Valley Railway and Colne Valley Railway based in the 50s for Train Simulator Classic.
