Whats up guys, Im Tatiana Diana and Ive got the latest on the newly released Transformers 3.
Well, the numbers are IN and its official...Transformers Dark of the Moon had the biggest opening day in all of 2011...Beating out fellow 3D flick, Pirates 4 which up until Transformers killed it in the box office, was in the number one spot.
So here are the official numbers...Transformers brought in 37.3Million Wednesday, which included the $8Million from midnight screenings. Adding in Tuesday's pre-midnight 3D sneaks of $5.5Million, the total is now $42.8Million.
Ok, so we know it made money, but did people actually LIKE the action packed transformer flick? Surprisingly considering the mixed reviews, audiences gave the flick an 'A' according to CinemaScore. Exit polls showed that 62% Males gave it an 'A-' and 38% Females an 'A', while 55% under age 25 gave it an 'A' and 45% over 25 an 'A-'.
