Hey guys, Im Tatiana Diana and Ive got the latest on Singualrity.

According to the Hollywood reporter, Columbia is picking up a new project titled "Singularity" based on a spec script from director Roland Emmerich, and that it will be "a return to epic scope" of stuff like "Independence Day," "Godzilla," "2012" and "The Day After Tomorrow." If you didn't know, Emmerich directing all of those flicks!

Other Emmerich projects coming out soon include Anonymous which open September 30th. Emmerich was also asked to direct Asteroids, which we previously reported on.

While there aren't many other details on the flick, we do know that the release date is set for May 17, 2013.
