Transformers Studio Series '86 - Dinobot Sludge Review
15In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series ’86 #15 Dinobot Sludge! This is Sludge as we saw him in the 1986 Movie when he breaks down the courtroom door and interrupts the Quintesson trial for Hot Rod and Kup.
The figure looks fantastic in both modes, but there are some quality issues that are disappointing which we deep dive in the review.
Articulation is well-done for a mainline Leader-class figure. He only comes with one accessory which is his hand cannon. It’s very well done and has blast effect compatibility. However, we don’t get a mini-fig with Sludge, which is different than with Grimlock (Wheelie) and Slag (Spike).
My conclusion – Although quality is disappointing, Sludge has a great shelf presence in both modes and looks phenomenal next to his fellow Dinobots. He’s definitely ready to help Optimus Prime and the Autobot forces defend Earth (and Cybertron) from Megatron, Unicron and the Decepticon army.
