Trash Quest is an indie developed Metroidvania with roguelite properties, published by RedDeerGames.

This was the very first time I played this game and ended the stream wanting to keep playing
Although there are some challenging segments, it is tough by fair and the rogue elements, like returning to the beginning after death but with your collected items, works better than expected. It is fun, the 2D visuals are great (check out that cool shadow/lighting effect), and the soundtrack is outstanding.

This is a simple quick play video designed to demonstrate gameplay.
