Finally, we are returning to our beloved Central America. Early this morning we fly out of Houston's Hobby airport to head to Liberia, Costa Rica where we get lunch, run some errands, and take a taxi to the Nicaraguan border at Peñas Blancas. There we are picked up by Leo and driven the four hours north to León and home.

This is Kat's first time really traveling and certainly her first taste of anything in Central America. She was totally in love as soon as she saw Costa Rica and epically taken with the wonders that are Nicaragua. She said the moment that she entered Nicaragua that she felt like she was home.
