Travelogue: Centennial Celebration at the San Diego Zoo!
6I think I came at the San Diego Zoo with a few too many preconceived ideas of its grandeur, given its reputation, and I admit, that's on me. At the same time, though, I think I can honestly say, I enjoyed visiting the Houston Zoo more, and I was a little surprised at the less-than-ideal conditions some of San Diego's animals were kept in. I enjoyed the experience overall, though I did walk away with some criticisms. Cool to see some of the animals there as closely as I did, though.
