Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Kristyn Burtt, were invited to come out to once again cover the 67th Annual ACE Eddie Awards recognizing outstanding editing in 10 categories of film, TV and documentaries at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
67th Annual ACE Eddie Awards at the Beverly Hilton with ACE President Stephen Rivkin, presiding over the evening’s festivities with actress Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) serving as the evening’s host with over 1,000 in attendance to celebrate.
“Arrival” (edited by Joe Walker, ACE) and “La La Land” (edited by Tom Cross, ACE) won Best Edited Feature Film (Dramatic) and Best Edited Feature Film (Comedy) at the ceremony recognizing the best editing of 2016 in ten categories of film, television and documentaries.
The ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year went to director/producer J.J. Abrams.
Presenters at the ACE Eddie Awards included “Moonlight” star Trevante Rhodes, “Fences” stars Mykelti Williamson and Saniyya Sidney, Chrissy Metz ("This is Us"), Oscar® nominated director of “Arrival,” Denis Villeneuve, and actor Tim Matheson.
