Tri-shot vs Mulcher? Part 2 - Mulcher - Master Gunner on Lift - Gears 5 Horde Frenzy
97The second part of this back and forth between which is overall better between the Tri-shot or the Mulcher with Mulcher Mastery. This match went ahead and didn't make it easy! Anti Rikku had an idea of building in the center of Lift and I went completely f***ing crazy on this match, resulting in arguably the best I've ever done on a Horde Frenzy and unarguably the most damage I've ever done on a single wave. This match was crazy from beginning to end.
Looking back though, romaeterna1 and Chong Vang both said it best in the comments: Mulchers for bosses, Tri-Shots for...non-bosses. And of course, running a gunner with Torque and high bleed damage is also great which I gotta get a video of whenever I can get Serrated Edge to at least lvl 5 (it's 4 now)
If I'm picking one though, I think I'm going Tri-Shot. While this match was nuts, I notice a lot of the damage happening was from our circumstances and me using my ult really well and less so on the Mulcher itself. The Mulcher is great for getting your ult back at least, considering its fire rate. If you use Heavy Charger like me you'll get it back fast. But if you can manage with the Tri-Shot's fire rate, that burst damage is so so good.
Plus having the free card for something else is great. The Gunner has A LOT of valuable cards at their disposal.
