Trial Of Yvenia Guide Anthem | How To Repair Javelins While Playing Solo & Collecting Treasure Chest
73In this video, I show how I completed the rest of my Freeplay Tombs / Trial of Yvenia Challenge Mission. I had already completed the harvests and collectibles portion of the mission, and simply had to repair javelins and collect treasure chests. For tips on this, read the rest of the description or watch the video.
Treasure Chests: At the time I was completing this task, treasure chests opened by other people do not count for YOUR progression. You have two viable ways of completing this fast. 1.) Fly around until a world event pops up. As soon as you complete the world event, a chest is guaranteed to pop up. Make sure no one else is around to steal your chest. 2.) Fly around looking for chests without doing world events. In my case, I did a mix of both.
Javelins Repaired: This may seem difficult (and it is) especially if you are a solo player in Anthem. With the lack of text / voice chat in freeplay, it's going to be tricky trying to complete this. The most important guide / advice I can give you is that repairing NPC sentinels actually count for this challenge. There is a world event in which you must help the sentinels drive back the wildlife. Check out around 11:30 of the video -- I was trying to get the Ursix to hit not only me, but also the friendly sentinels. My logic is that when the Sentinels go down, I would be able to repair them thereby allowing me to complete the Javelin repair requirement.
