Today I take on the art of "Skiing" in Tribes Ascend.
The general trick to Skiing is to ski downhill and jetpack uphill. When and where to actually activate the jetpack can be quite confusing for a novice. The Jetpack should be activated BEFORE you hit the slope, while you're still travelling down hill or while on a level field. This allows you to maintain your momentum but changes it into the direction of the slope. Just skiing up a slope will make you LOSE momentum. Jetpacking up it will maintain it, and change the direction.
