In this video, I tackle the challenge of addressing some outstanding issues in the video editor prototype. We start by discussing whether a loading state is necessary for the video player and conclude that simplifying the structure is a better approach. My focus quickly turns to troubleshooting an issue with my use of refs and state that affect how the video controls work when the UI initially loads.
