Probably my favorite progressive rock song I've written to date. My previous prog pieces have been heavily inspired by prog bands and songs I really like. In a way, they were kind of like vague imitations, though not exactly. I would always restrain myself compositionally in order to make the song sound "right." For this song, I didn't really have a particular influence in mind while I was writing it, so I simply wrote whatever came naturally. The end result is something I'm actually fairly proud of, and I'd like to think there's a lot of my personal style embedded in here.
