while the combat and crafting hold promise of interesting developments, I found the writing, characters and.. everything very unengaging. Stuff just happens too fast and too slow simultanously, as bizarre as that sounds. Characters felt tropey and one tone. Maybe it would get mad if given enough time, but first impressions mean everything and I tend to think around two hours is a pretty good cutoff point. Too bad. The emulation is also bit glitchy (idk if the insane spikes when jumping and landing are because of it but seems likely), but that's not the game's fault.
