A first look at the Bala Lake Railway for Train Simulator Classic which released on the 1st August 2025. For those who were not fortunate enough to get a ticket to The Greatest Gathering at Derby got treated by Slate Track Simulations with their latest route release the Bala Lake Railway a 2ft Narrow Gauge Railway located in Wales which runs 4 miles between Llanuwchllyn Station and Bala Pen-y-bont Station, a round trip of a grand total of 9 miles.

This route addon was also aided by other third party developers such as Slow Line Simulations, Great Western Works and AngryWelshmanProductions, More honourable mentions are Jamesclass37, Alex Maityard and Jack Hales. The route is available to buy via the link below:

My overall thoughts on the addon is that for what it is it is a bargain. £15.99 for this route is very fairly priced for what you are getting with it, New locomotives, 4 Miles of route, Rolling Stock, Custom Assets the lot it is definitely worth the money and as far as i could see there was not many bugs or issues with the route apon release.
