8Savestates were NOT used during gameplay.
I usually find water levels slow-paced and boring, but if the level/section has enough going on (like this one), then I have no issues with it. The building sections have good sprite placement, and make use of slopes to allow the player different approaches to defeating said sprites. The only thing is, apart from the water section, this level seems a little short. Unless I'm forgetting about an alternate path or something.
