The key skip that uses this is like 50s faster, so I figured out an easy way to make sure this text doesn't softlock you.

Mash until the 5th textbox (4th in the locked cage cutscene) and since this one has 3 sections, you can use it to scroll back and mash through all of the open cage cutscene. Once you get the blue punies obtained text, close it all and let the fade out take you.

You can probably start closing everything a bit earlier, since there is still 1 box from the locked cage cutscene, but didn't really test that out.
