One thing I think I forgot to mention is that if it was phonetic, the dots could maybe be used to form the extra two vowel sounds or something, but, like, not being able to come up with how 3 total things map to "sword" seems like an insurmountable obstacle at the moment to me.

Edit: The "I'll look it up for next time" ended up turning into "My housemate will give me a couple words for next time", so the next video is just me spending an hour and 5 minutes figuring out half the language. (Yes, only half.) We'll see if I feel like editing it down or if it's just an uncut stare at the manual.
