Turtle Beach Recon 500 review - affordable but a little bit tiny!
39This is a review of the Turtle Beach Recon 500, an affordable gaming headset that's designed to work on most consoles using 3.5mm connection. I've used it on PC, but that's not the recommended format.
Highlights include:
- Large capable drivers
- Surprisingly good sound considering the price of the headset
- Deep and comfortable earcups
Lowlights:
- No splitter cable included
- Can't get the mic to work on PC
- Doesn't extend big enough so problematic for big heads.
- 3.5mm cable is too tiny
