This video covers the first (and only) conference of the Tutorial Campaign of Unity of Command II (as of the 'Stalingrad' DLC) as well as the first scenario of said campaign, 'Louisiana'. This scenario depicts the Louisiana Maneuvers that happened in late 1941 before the United States joined the Second World War.

The main focus of the Tutorial Campaign is the fictional 'T Force' HQ and the three units attached to it - they appear in all three scenarios of the campaign and are there to introduce the player to persistent units, one of the most important parts of campaign play in Unity of Command II. Naturally, you should focus on developing and strengthening your most persistent units as they are the ones you will be fighting with most often, which I depict in this video.

This video also shows the single conference of the Tutorial Campaign. Conferences are incredibly important as they are the only way to upgrade to new levels of HQ branches (providing you have the prestige to pay for them). You can also purchase cards for use in scenarios, however I end up not doing this as I believe cards are of tertiary importance in comparison to HQ branch upgrades and the purchasing of steps and specialists in the battle preparation phase.

Speaking of which, 'Louisiana' is the only scenario in the Tutorial Campaign to have a battle preparation phase - thus it is important to note how you can use such a phase to help win your battles. During this video I show how you can purchase steps and specialists from the theatre pool to attach to your troops, the removal and immediate placements of supply hubs, and the ability to move HQs during such a phase; all three are vital elements of the battle preparation phase.
Ultimately, while I believe the individual tutorial scenarios that preceded this campaign are quite excellent for a basic overview of the game, the Tutorial Campaign fails to address several key concepts - the most important of which is the aforementioned battle preparation phase. They also fail to explain HQ order upgrades, achieved when a HQ levels up from its units collective experience gain - this will be shown in the 'Run for Tunis' scenario.

Thank you for watching these videos on the Tutorial Campaign for Unity of Command II. While my play is far from perfect I felt it somewhat necessary to upload the Tutorial Campaign to Youtube as I could not find it anywhere on the site. If you haven't yet I recommend checking out the videos I made on the tutorial scenarios that precede this campaign.
