Tutorial: Convert .spx Speex files to MP3 or FLAC Free from XSplit for Video Editing
I know it has been a big problem for many of my viewers trying to deal with the dreaded .spx (Speex) file format when you wanted to convert those .flv files over to MP4 so you could edit them in your favorite video editor.
While I recommended you find a program to transcode them to a different format I never took the time to find a program and show you how to use it. So today we do just that and hopefully help out a lot of people in the process.
We will be using FLV Extract to rip our streams out of the .FLV file from XSplit.

Then the free program MusicBee is what we will be doing the conversion with.

Also as I point out in the video OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is a really great free alternative to XSplit that I highly recommend you check out.
