Photoshop Lens Filter correction can correct chromatic aberration aka "color fringe" as well. But it has it's limits. Here is an example how to handle extreme cases in RGB when Photoshop lens correction is not good enough. Works in other color spaces as well of course.
Since there is no tutorial for such extreme cases I made one, my very first Photoshop tutorial.
