Tutorial: How to play 1440p or 4k on a 1080p Monitor or TV
How to play @1440p or 4k when you only have a 1080p Monitor?
Turn on DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution)
-Open Nvidia Control panel
-Manage 3D Settings
-Under Global Settings tab, find DSR-Factors
-Check all boxes and hit OK
-Apply and close Nvidia Control Panel
NOTES:
-Set your desktop resolution to 3840x2160
-Launch any game and see if it has resolutions higher than 1920x1080
Who needs this?
-Well if you are planning to buy a 4k monitor, better use DSR first to check if your GPU can actually play at 4k resolution
-Also, 1080p does not really look High Definition in todays standards. Check the side by side comparison I made in the video.
