TUTORIAL: How to REMOVE "Black Shadow" From Mods (WWE 2K18)
14Okay, so after months of trying to figure this out, and literally editing almost every single thing in the PACH I wasn't able to get rid of this, it really started pissing me off because every time I wanted to add tights/pants/shorts etc to a mod it happened, even when I didn't model the clothing at all just to see if it would appear and it did... So a couple days ago I went through 2k17 and 2k18 files to see what was added to 2k18 that wasn't in 2k17. And after deleting and testing multiple files, I came across the Param_Shadows file. Backed it up and deleted it and BAM!! No more shadows on any of the mods I was experiencing the problem on.. I've done plenty of tests in game without the file just to see if it messed anything up... Tested about 20 vanilla superstars to see if anything changed, and nothing did, superstars still have the proper lighting, and there shadows appear on the ring and wherever else they are suppose to. I also noticed that this stops the hair and any other piece of clothing from glitching out when you add the new object to a mod and it starts the black glitching after the ring bell in a match. BUT you do still have to edit the 25E4 file to get the hair to appear properly. All in all I think this is a life saver, if anyone runs into any issues after deleting the file please let me know on my twitter @Cus7ate9. I've opened up my messages to everyone.
