So today I am doing a teardown on this 2017 Frogtv unit. I am amazed by what I find on the inside. no joke. These units were super popular a few years ago and bragged that you could completly cut your cable out and replace it with this one unit. One of the things that they failed to tell you is that you need constant updates and support because things change. Your distro group gets shut down. and as always, eventual updates leave all old units behind.

FrogTV advertised that you could completly cut out cable if you purchased this one box. It would have been super nice if that was true.
