Years later after Alastor’s death, Husk’s mental health is reclining more and more (due to quite a few important people in his life dying prematurely) and the 70s didn’t really have any sort of help for mental health that would take men seriously. Especially an older guy like Husk who was 72 by his death. Though Alastor was long gone and had died YEARS ago he couldn’t help but replay his words in his head. Until eventually he supposed that he was unhealthy (due to being an alcoholic) and old enough that he would die soon anyway. So he reasoned with himself saying it was just speeding up the process to jump off a building.
