Twitch Inspector Tutorial - How to Check Bitrate [2021 #Shorts]
I had a particularly dicey stream recently and decided that I needed to share this guide so that my fellow streamers can have a quick, straightforward guide to use this feature!
I added this to my youtube shorts since it is adapted from my tutorial that shows you step-by-step how to use Twitch Inspector to check the quality of your stream before you go live!
Twitch inspector is a very handy tool to use to ensure that your streaming bitrate will be stable enough to minimize the chance of dropped frames and decreased bandwidth ruining the stream experience for your viewers!
Once Twitch Inspector linked to your Twitch account, you'll always have a quick way to check if there's something wrong with your internet speed or if it's within the Twitch website or your encoder without going live.
The encoder I use is StreamLabs OBS, but this works with any encoder!
You've got enough aspects to deal with in your Twitch stream without having to see it lag out repeatedly during your sessions!
It's not a silver bullet, but it can definitely help you in the Twitch debug process!
Check out the links below for your reference! The first goes straight to Twitch Inspector. The second goes in-depth on the settings needed for each resolution that you want to stream at.
