Twitch introduces Sub Local Pricing, BUT BEWARE!
Today Twitch announced amazing major feature - local subscribing pricing. And it's my job to prepare myself & community, and educate you guys how it can effect content creators in the near future.
Articles mentioned in this video: https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2021/05/17/building-global-communities-with-local-subscription-pricing/ and http://help.twitch.tv/s/article/local-subscription-pricing
I also forgot to mention at the end of the video that bits (twitch currency) pricing isn't going to be changed, it's 1bit=1cent still, so in some cases, it makes more sense now to support your content creator with bits. And while I was talking about alternative ways for viewers to help/support, I forgot to mention obvious tipping directly (PayPal, Streamlabs, Streamelements) or making automatic monthly payments within PayPal itself.
