The first two times Twitch Sings was streamed on Gatorbox it was part of a communal "Community Points" challenge where viewers could contribute their points toward a common goal, that goal being a stream of Twitch Sings taking the place of one of our usual hangout broadcasts.
However about 3/4 of the way through 2021 this changed. Twitch announced that they were pulling the plug on Sings and shutting down its servers at the end of the year. All of the planned DLC that was queued up for weeks was released all in one massive block of about 400 songs. Despite adding hundreds of songs several dozen of them that proved to be problematic with Twitch's own Content ID system were delisted at the same time.
Draco ended the third ongoing Channel Points pot and began streaming Twitch Sings every Saturday night leading up to its shutdown. This stream is the first one where Draco made it a weekly thing.
