Keiichi Maebara is the new kid in a small town, and he's already developed friendships far deeper than he could've imagined. The four other members of his after-school club are constantly challenging him to grow and better himself, and to meet the challenges of life head-on.
But that newfound resolve is rocked when he witnesses something he wasn't meant to see. And while the entire town may decry their own impotence, Keiichi is determined not to let himself fall prey to those same comforting platitudes. He won't stand idly by; he will take action--even if it means he can never come back.
