By now, Hedwig is no stranger to life at Linbarrow Abbey. She's surrounded by nuns whose devotion is questionable at best, has entangled herself in a web of lies and deception too difficult for even her to fully parse, and continues to compromise ever-increasing pieces of her devotion, all for the sake of a task she wholeheartedly resents. And yet, despite all her efforts and attempts at investigation, it's become increasingly clear that she has little to show for it.
But now, the grace period for her acclimation is over. The Superior is demanding answers, the sisters have removed their kid gloves, and an innocent man's life continues to hang in the balance. Will Hedwig finally succeed at unmasking the demons at the heart of Linbarrow?
And, more importantly, will anyone actually believe her?
