I pass through Ghortarius' teleport, and I wind up in a town called Bayan on a faraway island. I'm trying to get to Hatmandor, and this village at least gets me close. I meet some locals who direct me to a veterinarian called Alima who raises horses. Sounds good, maybe I can grab one from her.

She's just outside the village, so I visit her and she does offer a horse in exchance for some help finding "herbs" (which she mispronounces, lol). But the mint herbs are in the stomachs of ostriches, hrmm. Off I go to hunt ostriches, but I am waylaid by Varn, which I dispatch with minor difficulties...
