For obvious reasons, friends of mine believe that you can't beat the game in the AE86, because of the dirt Hokkaido course. While the AE86 is a good car, it's also front-engine, rear-wheel drive, which is one of the worst drivetrains to use on dirt.

Well...just for fun, I decided to see what would happen if I raced Emotional King in this car. It turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would, to be honest. After about an hour of practice and some new tuneups for my AE86, I bagged Emotional King.

Since this guy's the hardest racer in Hokkaido, I'd definitely say its possible to beat the game with the AE86 now. I think I'll be giving it a shot.
