230I love Warcraft 3, I sure do love esports, and the combination of my third love, Classic World of Warcraft, has made me a variably content pig rich in slop over the past couple of months. OnlyFangs continues to be a fun divergence between the various competitive communities, but over in the Warcraft 3 camp... well things move at a slow pace and Grubby's reign over a particular style of improvised show-match style of strategy is unparalleled.
As a result, Tyler1, another gaming luminary has naturally found him selves crossing spears and throwing down gauntlets with Grubby. Grubby, after all, wears the World Champ title, but how long ago was his last win professionally? Does Tyler1 have warrant to questions Grubby's ability to face melt him in Warcraft 3?
This video answers these questions plainly. For as much spirit and heart (commendable) that Tyler1 exudes when facing new challenges, a 1v1 against Grubby in a game you admittedly need "Two weeks of BIS coaching" is nothing short of not only throwing lambs to the slaughter but seasoning them before you do.
Tyler 1 will never take a game against Grubby in 1vs1. I have contemplated possible scenarios and they almost always include Grubby trying an elaborate win condition and somehow failing. But even if that does happen, Grubby can simply play lame, hide buildings, and generally out-fundamental Tyler1 to a slow, agonizing RTS defeat.
