Hey, it's been a while since I last published a video! I still have some old footage left, but for today I wanted to upload this run that I did about an hour ago. This is a run on the game Type:Rider, which is a 2013 french game published by ARTE, which I have a lot of nostalgia for. I played the mobile version of this game a long long time ago, and decided to play the Steam version some days ago. Since I still really liked the game, I figured I'd look up speedruns of it after completing the game. And as you can see, it turns out they're pretty broken LOL
The main glitch of this run is the "pause speed storage", which is both used to gain speed in the prologue and to get lots of height in the hub in order to bypass the end wall. This glitch is very easy to pull off, as you only need to have your character in a zone that gives speed, and pause for a certain amount of time depending on how much speed you need. The main annoyance of the run was actually the very last part, which is the "hub launch". The launch itself isn't too bad (what I did was pause for about 6.5 seconds then hold right), but the landing is, how do I put this... Basically, with the amount of speed you have, you can either land perfectly and trigger the ending, or land too fast and clip into the ground, softlocking you. And trust me, the latter is far more likely.

So yeah, the run is fun besides the ending, lots of small tricks to improve your time, really liked it :) I'm certainly not going for the WR tho haha, 2:07 is good enough
