BETON BRUTAL any% speedrun in 13:05!
1Hey guys, long time no see! It's been a hot minute since I last uploaded on this channel haven't I? Honestly that's partly because I'm lazy, but also because I don't have much to upload nowadays. I still have a few GD videos left to upload, as well as some Celeste golden berries but not much else.
Anyway, BETON BRUTAL! This game came out about a month ago, and it's absolutely incredible. It's best described as a mix between Minecraft parkour and Getting Over It, and since I've played Minecraft parkour maps for years and I loved playing through GoI 50 times, it's safe to say this game was a must-play for me.
As you can expect, I wasn't disappointed, and the game's speedrun achievements gave it a lot of replayability, leading me to this run. This run's not that great compared to the others (WR is currently a 7:57), but my main goal was to get the sub-15 achievement, and I don't really plan on improving it any further. Most optimizations require weird jank/skips that I can't wrap my head around and are pretty inconsistent, and besides speedrunning is pretty stressful, so I don't really want to grind it. Anyway, very happy with this run :)
