In order to U-Turn, you must let go of the Acceleration press the Brake button (Square on PS4, X Xbox One, Y on the Nintendo Switch), Down and Left/Right at the same time while driving. This makes sharper turns than Powersliding and brake sliding while not losing too much speed (or any of the Fire speeds) I recommend practicing not just to improve u-turning in general but also to not hold Brake for too long, which would otherwise make you lose tons of speed. Best courses to practice this are Turbo Track (Retro on PS4 is also OK) and Tiny Arena.
