This substituted for an in-game intro to relay the plot of their Amstrad CPC point and click action-adventure title, 'Zombi'. Although if you'd seen John A. Romero's 1978 Dawn of the Dead satirical comedy-horror you'd already be familiar with it. Even the name was unofficially 'borrowed'... from the Italian cut of the same movie.
In 1990 the game was updated (ish) for the Atari ST, Amiga, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and MS-DOS.
Accompanied by the best track ever written about zombies... Re: Your Brains by the wonderful Jonathan Coulton.
