When I was 17-years-old and in my last year of high school, I wrote this piece for my composition major work. It was one of the few student compositions nominated to be played in the Sydney Opera House!

I used a lot of Japanese influence when writing this piece and titled it "Uchi" which more or less translates to English as "inside our home". It features flute and vibraphone and uses instrumental techniques such as tremolos and flutter tongue.

I hope you enjoy this recording of my composition!
