WHAT TO DO
-open a new project, blueprints side scroller works
-drag out a box trigger and in the details panel replace it with a blueprint
-go to components tab and add a text render with suitable text
-SET THE TEXT RENDER INVISIBLE
-go to the graph editor and right click and add event overlap begin and overlap end
-make a new variable called trigger
-pull it out and click set, set the begin overlap one true and end overlap false
-add a branch and 'get' the trigger to the red value
-select the text render in the window to the left and right click and type toggle visisilbity.
-add one for true and copy paste another for false.
-create an event dispatcher from the same area as the variable earlier and name it 'buttontrue' and another 'buttonfalse'
-drag these out and select call then attach true to the output of the true toggle visibility and false to false
-compile then open the level blueprint
-right click and search for buttontrue and buttonfalse, create events for both
-right click and add a gate, attach buttontrue to open and button false to close
-right click and type 'e' (or the character you want) and attach the pressed to 'enter'
-now right click and type print string, think of something fun to type and have a go
-select your mesh and make sure it is set to moveable, then create a new matinee actor
-select your mesh again then in matinee right click in the main tab area and create a new empty group
-right click your new group and add a new movement track
-move your mesh
-add a key in matinee
-select the matinee actor
-in the level blueprint, right click and type play, attach it to the output of the print string
-done.
