Notes -

I did this once a few years back in the past with GZdoom, but after much consideration and a private discord VC/stream last night with a couple of friends the idea of speedrunning Doom 1's first episode came to pass. And this time It would be running on DSDA Doom, from what i hear is the Legitimate source port allowed by Doom Speedrun Leaderboards "or at least that's what i've seen with Zero Masters run's" since it's as close to vanilla doom as possible outside of running it via DosBox of a Dos Machine.

I did give it a go on that night and managed to get a 16:50 which I felt was pretty good but I wasn't feeling up to doing much after that so I ended the VC/Stream and called it a night. only to wake up at about 4 AM and give it another go.

I'm well aware that my time is definitely not front runner material, is full of mistakes and the like but I really don't mind. I've beaten my Personal Best "which was about 20 minutes" and considering that i'm pretty much a freaking NOOB at the genre i'm more than happy with it.
