Can you follow my fingers? Does this color make it easier or more difficult to track the light? What letter am I tracing with the light? Can you follow this light in the dark? Barring having multiple lights (the spare batteries I had corroded :( ), we'll be doing a barrage of follow-the-object testing but focusing primarily on 'follow the light'. At the end, I'll start turning out the lights one-by-one until we are doing the tests in the dark.
