One Simple rule: If you die, you’re out of the competition.
An all new custom made scenario created by KnowItAllDM that fixes a lot of the problems we had with the original iteration of Ironman. We are now allowed use any seed number we want, so all competitors will be on differently generated maps (the planet names are the same). We can attack and loot any POI we find, and we can attack them by any means.
The special weekly mission objective POIs have Alien Admin Core that have purple text on the HUD. These POIs have invulnerable blocks that cannot be destroyed by the player, including the core. Turrets, doors, and spanners are destructible. However the base is set up with an auto-destruct switch the player must find to take out the POI. So infiltration on foot is nessecary.
We are also allowed to use warp drive to visit other planets since each week’s objective will be on different planets. We are also given all our orders in advance, so there isn’t any waiting a whole week find out what the next mission is.
