Noob Saibot is a hidden CPU-only character in the game. He is a non-selectable character in this version of it.

===== ABOUT SATURN UMK3 NOOB =====

For those who are extra-familiar with the MK series from the early 2D games, you will notice that the Noob Saibot in the Saturn version of UMK3 is actually the Kano palette-swap/silhouette one from the prequel, MK3. This has always been a surprise because the Arcade version of UMK3 uses the proper ninja palette-swap/silhouette instead. Therefore, this makes the Kano one "incorrect".

A possible reason for this is that I believe that the developers took the PS1 MK3 code and used that as a base to develop Saturn UMK3, resulting in the Kano version being kept. This theory is further strengthened by the fact it uses the same menu screen from PS1 MK3, and the spinning MK3 logo on this screen wasn't even changed. As Noob is a hidden and unplayable character who doesn't appear often, and the fact that he is a silhouette on a background that made it hard to see him, the developers may have thought that it didn't matter too much. Or they may have overlooked it or forgot about it.

===== TECHNICAL INFORMATION =====

Saturn UMK3 Noob Saibot is 100% crash-free under human/player control in gameplay.

This is one of the versions of the Kano-silhouette Noob Saibot that has attacking moves that is 100% crash-free under human/player control. Another version is the one in one of the prototype versions of MK3 on the SNES (also featured on this channel).

He cannot appear on the character select screen. If you use third party methods to try to make him appear here, the game will crash/freeze.

If he is selected in a 2-player match, he has his own portrait image for the VS screen. This is shown at 20:28 in the video.

He does not have any special moves. Nor does he have any Finishing Moves (the latter is not confirmed though).

If you beat single-player mode with him, he has his own portrait image and uses Smoke's ending dialogue/story.

Despite being an unplayable character, he has his own player icon (the [?] ) on the Choose Your Destiny and Shao Kahn Treasures screen.

In gameplay, in single-player mode, he is always locked to Noob's Dorfen background/stage unless he fights against Motaro or Shao Kahn. In 2-player games, he can appear on other backgrounds/stages.

He has fast walking speed. However, the animation frames for the walking has been slowed down when compared to MK3.

He does not have a alternate colour palette obviously.

===== TRIVIA =====

There is a rare Wave Net version of Arcade UMK3 that is known to have a hidden code to play as Noob Saibot via a Kombat Kode. This version of the game was tested only in the Chicago and San Francisco areas of America.
