This is a bit of a treat for Atari ST nutters - a history lesson of the musical side of the ST, by P.H.F... Although I personally think they're a little negative about the old ST and the earlier tunes. I think the YM chip is great and I'm not embarrassed it's the same as in other machines. Nor do I think that buzzy SiD sound always sounds the best. But... each to their own... Anyhow, it's a very interesting read within the intro and I enjoyed it.
