This "chapter" is absolutely tiny, and definitely the shortest in the entire series, but to be honest, can you even call this a chapter? It's literally just a long scroll of info, there's not even a textbox. The only reason I'm uploading this separately from the previous chapter is because it's labelled separately in the game. I don't think it should be.

We also unlocked three new features on the main menu, the Picture, Music and Movie Boxes, which allow us to view any CGs, music, or OP videos we've unlocked over the course of the game. At the end of every episode I will briefly explore the Picture Box, as they do occaisionally grant us CGs that don't actually appear in game, as seen with the Portrait Collection here.

This is the last main chapter of Episode 1, but do not worry! There are still two epilogue chapters for every episode, the Tea Party and the ????. These are direct, unmissable continuations of the plot, that tend to function as epilogues to the story (Tea Parties) and teasers for the next episode (????s). Please look forward to both of these tonight.

When the Seagulls Cry Bloom ~Symphony of Catbox and Dreams~, or in its original Japanese title, Umineko no Naku Koro ni Saku ~Nekobako to Muso no Kokyokyoku~ is the definitive release of Umineko, featuring the most content, the most features, and the best presentation with full voice acting, completely remastered art from the original release, and more graphical fidelity that 07th Mod (the most popular way to play this game) lacks. Written by Ryukishi07, best known for his previous work writing Higurashi When They Cry, this sequel is perfectly accessible to newcomers, so you can jump right in with the Ushiromiya family and their annual family conference at Rokkenjima Island in October, 1986.

I plan to try my best to upload at least a chapter a day. This will be a no-commentary read-through of Umineko as this is not my first time reading so any commentary I have would be heavily spoilery. Please do not discuss spoilers in the comments so first time readers may enjoy spoiler free discussion and theory-crafting, however if you want a better place to do so, check out my Discord server, where you can chat with me and anyone else who watches, including dedicated discussion channels for Umineko to prevent spoilers.
