UMVC3 Akuma combo video ideas thing...
187Well this is what I had for akuma... A couple of the combos are actually ideas from the first game but of course as I said around the time I taped over it(or was it the tag combos I taped over.. or both? shrug anyway) but yea.. Pretty hard to find anything "new" for him as really the only thing he got is the demon flip in the air. Which I tried to show some ways you can work it in. While actually being usefull. These combos actually do generally just a smidge more as well.. Sadly of course they are somewhat awkard especially mid screen. However if your in the corner stuff like the over head combo, is probably his best overhead combo now. Does more damage then in the last game and is pretty easy. However he does have quite a few cool combos involving the demon flip using the extra stun from air tags etc, which I have some for the tag combos once I get done with that.
On another note for the thor and chun li combo(or maybe just in general) at this point it is actually possible to land and do medium HARD then launch however for whatever reason. This is not consitent.. Im not sure how a chain combo can not be 100%, as well it.. couldnt be random.. could it? My guess is that if you hit the opponent with a medium as low as possible they would get the untechable roll effect which is why sometimes the hard works and sometimes doenst? Not really sure.. But thats what im gonna guess...
For the air beam super link well I still dont think anyone has ever done this in a video even after I talked about it so.. figured id show it.. Note though on most characters you can only get a link to a launcher which even then takes a lot of timing.. And the air combo after is quite awkard as well shrug.... And of course I think I already showed all those ground beam links in the original tag videos.
