In today's video I unbox and upgrade the SSD in the brand new Steam Deck OLED!

I took the 1TB SSD from my OG Steam Deck and swap it into my 512GB OLED model....

Please note: This is NOT meant to be a tear down or how-to video, just my own personal experience DAY ONE of receiving the Deck in the mail after immediate ordering at launch day and swapping my SSD out. Up until the recording of this video, there was not much in the way of videos or info showing the opening of the OLED Deck so I was going in cold for the most part. I was swapping my SSD regardless, and decided to simply put a camera above me doing it to possibly inform people with what was going on inside the system, or involved. The ribbon cable seen in this video that I was trying to be careful with *can* be disconnected and removed as pointed out by many commentors below, however in my case I simply worked under it successfully.
