Unboxing: Earthbound (Super Nintendo, 1995)
Watch as I unbox the cult classic Earthbound for the Super Nintendo, and then play a little bit of the game
The Unboxing:
I slip the box out of its protector and show the front, back, top, bottom, and side art. I then open the box and slide out the game, followed by the player's guide, and then the inserts
The Inserts:
The first thing inside the box I show are the inserts. First, I show the Nintendo Power registration card. With this card, you can order 1, 2, or 3 years of the Nintendo Power magazine. Next, I show the Super Nintendo Consumer Information and Precautions booklet. This is just a generic booklet that comes standard with every Super Nintendo game. After that, I briefly show the poster. This is a double-sided poster, with one side being an ad for the Nintendo Super Power Club, and the other side showcasing games for the Super Nintendo. Lastly, I show the receipt. This receipt is the original receipt from when the game was first bought. The purchase date was June 7th, 1995, only two days after the game came out in America. The price for the game was $74.99 (MSRP $69.95)
Earthbound Player's Guide:
After the inserts have been placed aside, I open up the guide that came with the game and briefly skim it, showing the front and back of the scratch and sniff cards in the back of the guide
The cartridge:
Lastly, I take the cartridge and open it up, showing the front and back of the PCB board. After assembling it back together, I put it in my Super Nintendo, turn the console on, and begin to play

** While not endorsed by Video Game Box Protectors, I would still like to give them a shoutout. These boxes are great. I have most of my boxed Nintendo 64 games protected, as well as a few Super Nintendo games. The boxes make your games look shiny and new again, and is the most ideal way to preserve them in my opinion
