Unboxing Steam Controller and Playing Civ V and FTL
2I shot this video MONTHS ago. But my Linux computer was having some issues most likely related to overheating on the processor and so it kept crashing when I tried to render the video. Finally, it was cool enough outside and inside that I gave it another shot and finally got a successful render.
In the video I finally get my hands on a Steam controller and try it out to see how well it works. I try it with Civ 5 and FTL. Additionally, a few months later one of my little brothers tried to use it to play Gary's Mod, but the configs I went with did not allow him to do key things in the game.
It'll be interesting to see going forward as more games are released post-controller if more of them support the game better.
